What Is Northpond?

Northpond was inspired by its namesake: a pond along the lakefront in Chicago, Illinois. The founders had spent countless hours walking around the pond on many mornings, afternoons and evenings finding peace and comfort just steps away from a concrete jungle. Those walks sparked the question: why have we strayed so far from nature to find peace and comfort? Our homes are filled with things made half a world away with synthetic and wasteful materials, assembled by hard-working folks whose stories we'll never know. Northpond wants to change that.
